My last read of 2018 was Heart Berries by Térese Marie Mailhot. Full disclosure: it was airplane reading, the beautiful uninterrupted kind of middle seat reading.
Daughter to the left of me, stranger to the right there I was. When I landed in destination: Montana the words stayed with me the entire time. Mailhot's writing gets into your blood cells.
