One. Hiya.

I had a blog for over 10 years and it had about 17 readers, give or take. Probably take.

It gave me so much joy to write little blog entries back in the day. I had moved to a new city where I didn’t know anyone and I began writing to keep me from remembering how small the circle was that I lived within (also I was shallow-in-the-breath lonely). I caught a very small wave of readership and friendships that still mean a lot to me. And then I grew up and blogged way, way less. I would always write about how I missed my blog and essentially my blog became: Too busy, bye!

I thought about how to return to it. But I read through that old mess and I can’t go back there.

And so: my first post of a new blog.

What matters to me now? Here:

Motherhood
Working motherhood
Management
Florida - home
Oregon - roots
Kindness
Mom style (ha!)
Reading
Coffee
Making time for a tiny luxury
Pinecones, pine trees, fir trees and mountain air
Walking
Fireplaces
And finally, home.

Welcome! Call me Margaret.
